The Energy Efficiency in Business (EEiB) accreditation is a standard that recognises good environmental practice and energy efficiency in business, flagging them as an eco-efficient and environmentally focused company.
According to the Carbon Trust, office based business activities are responsible for the emission of around 6.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide a year, and it’s estimated that energy savings of up to 20%, equivalent to more than £157 million, are possible across the sector.
EEiB provides guidance and recognition for businesses concerned about the impact commerce has on the environment, and are, or want to, pursue efficient energy management and a carbon emission reduction goal.
Successfully achieving an EEiB accreditation is an endorsement of your company having taken corporate responsibility for its actions and adopted good environmental and sustainable practices.
