Poole Radio Cabs is the largest taxi company in Poole, Dorset. The company operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and handles over 500 000 journeys per annum.
As one of the first businesses to become EEiB accredited Poole Radio Cabs has a keen environmental Transport ethos. As part of their commitment to reduce their environmental impact they are now working to install energy efficient lighting in their Taxi rank and are trialling Kleen-Oil units in some of their vehicles, both initiatives have helped to reduce their carbon footprint.
The potential savings came to a total of £3455 per annum.
