Due to the size of their sites and activities ranging from servicing and maintenance to sales and admin the business has become increasingly aware of its energy usage and the impact that it has on the environment.
In order to become a more sustainable organisation the business has undergone an EEiB 2050 Assessment helping to identify a range of goals that will not only save the business money but help to reduce its carbon footprint.
In addition to the environmental benefits the assessment identified potential savings of £5248 per annum.

As a large business its use of energy, office consumables and various other raw materials is high. As a result of this, the hotel had an Energy Efficiency in Business Assessment in July 2010 to aid them in identifying both financial and environmental savings.
The assessment resulted in a plan that should allow them to reduce their carbon footprint and see potential annual savings of £9153.

The staff at Budmouth have a strong environmental ethos and this encouraged them to pursue recognition for past effort and further assistance from EEiB to help reduce their carbon footprint.
In April 2010 Budmouth had an EEiB 2020 Assessment that not only identified action points for future change, but also helped to emphasise the measures they already take to be green.
Budmouth are now recognised as an energy efficient business and should benefit from potential financial savings of £1289 per annum.
