CSR in Your Business
Corporate and Social Responsibility in your Business (CSR) is something that many businesses do without realising it, and certainly most are not using it to gain business advantage.
So what is CSR? It’s how a business manages its business processes and activities whilst making a positive impact on society. It’s about being ethical, professional and successful in running the business whilst achieving a balance towards improving the quality of life of the employee, their families, and society as a whole.
Business is no longer just about making bottom line profit. Today, many companies are measured on that extra bit that makes them stand out. An example of CSR is the reuse of carrier bags in supermarkets.
CSR is about building on the internal values of the business, and turning this into simple, believable, and achievable statements and actions that can be quantified and measured.
EEiB will work with you to create your CSR report to formally recognise your efforts as a responsible business.
