Our Mission

It would be too easy to say that our mission was about helping a business reduce its carbon footprint. It is that, of course, but it’s also about managing environmental expectations, about understanding how an environmental management policy really does work for the business and community.

It starts by bringing ‘green’ in from the periphery of business to being at the centre of policy decisions. Committing to sustainable green practices brings benefits across the business - it addresses energy usage and reduces costs, it strengthens the company’s reputation with all staff and suppliers, it ensures the company handles recycling and waste in a responsible manner.

We understand that businesses are becoming more concerned regarding their environmental performance, and about not having the expertise in-house to make a difference, or about the perceived cost of bringing in consultants and the possibility of new equipment.

Hence, our mission is this: irrespective of the size or nature of your business the EEiB programme will address the environmental issues that concern you and your business by producing one manageable action plan aimed at reducing costs, improving business efficiency, and lowering your environment impact.
